The annual Draining of the Pliny is upon us as the coveted limited edition hop bomb from Russian River Brewing Co. makes its annual appearance in Colorado — one of four states where kegs of the delicious triple India Pale Ale are distributed.
The brew already started being tapped at the Falling Rock Taphouse. But it also will be available in 11 other bars throughout the Front Range.
As our o the cult-favorite from the California brewery draws legions of people who vie for tickets, pay up to $12 to get a 10-ounce nip of the fleeting brew.
Pliny is being distributed by Elite Brands of Colorado, which this year will send them to a dozen beer bars and brewpubs across the state that pour Russian River beers on a regular basis (full list below). Those bars will begin revealing their tapping plans throughout the month.
More information about tappings will be updated as we learn more (and please let us know in the comments if you know of a tapping).
