Re: Feb. 12 editorial.
Schools need to exercise legal common sense in a lot of matters, not just with the boy whose therapeutic marijuana patch was confiscated. How about the kid whose mother inadvertently put a paring knife in her school lunch or the first-grade boy who pecked the cheek of a girl? Are school staffs that afraid of repercussions for exercising common sense in applying the law?
