
A video shot during a concert on Tuesday in Biloxi, Miss., appears to show Afroman punching a woman who jumped on stage as he played guitar. Because, well, itap not clear why.

“On 17 February 15, the Biloxi Police Department responded to a reported assault at the Kress Live Entertainment Venue involving Mr. Joseph Edgar Foreman who performs under the stage name Afroman,” said a . “Mr. Foreman was arrested for Assault as a result of a Citizen’s Affidavit, booked in, and released after paying a 330 Dollar Bond.”
Things didn’t go great for Afroman last time he had a scheduled appearance in Denver either. , the “Because I Got High” rapper didn’t show, and gave no explanation. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High:
Chief among the missing was lineup curiosity Afroman, who was slotted for the oft-ignored Ballroom Stage. Why he didn’t show was unclear — maybe a case of life imitating art. Though his management couldn’t be reached for comment, a notice on his absence was posted on the artistap Facebook more than a week ago. The crowd that gathered for his 5 p.m. set were met instead by local hip-hop collective Turner Jackson. To their credit, the group managed to retain most of Afroman’s audience, even after they stated the obvious: “We’re not Afroman.”
