Saturday-Sunday: As a cartoon lesson in humility, the Disney adaptation of Paul Dukas’ symphonic poem “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is nearly unmatched. As seen in “Fantasia,” it involves Mickey Mouse quickly learning that magic spells have no room for short cuts. In Denver-based dance company Ballet Ariel’s family-friendly version, the bumbling apprentice makes a similar mistake in enchanting ordinary tools to do his chores — with suitably kinetic results. Also on the program: excerpts from the classical ballet “Raymonda.” Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre, 119 Park Ave. West. Tickets: $15-$20, available by calling 303-945-4388 or visiting .
