Reggie Jackson, a former Colorado Springs prep standout and current backup point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, has requested to be traded, .

Per Wojnarowski’s sources, Jackson’s agent, Aaron Mintz of CAA, asked Thunder general manger Sam Presti to move his client before Thursday’s trading deadline.

Presti has made no commitment to moving Jackson, but has been willing to gauge the market and listen to pitches on potential deals as always, sources said.

When reached on Wednesday, neither Mintz nor Presti would comment.

Jackson and the Thunder failed to agree on a rookie contract extension in October, as he has been seeking a starting point guard job. And the 24-year-old has made it clear that he would be “resistant” to returning to Oklahoma City, according to Wojnarowski, if the team keeps him on for the rest of this season and then tries to match an offer sheet to keep him as a restricted free agent.

Jackson, who filled in for starter Russell Westbrook as he recovered from a hand injury in November, averaged 20.2 points, 7.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 13 starts. But the Thunder’s record with Jackson as their starter during that span was a measly 3-10.

On the season, Jackson is averaging 12.8 points on 43.2 percent shooting from the field, with 4.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.
