A woman pleaded guilty in Jefferson County court on Wednesday to for whom she worked as a caregiver.
Amy Jo Rivas, 50, pleaded guilty to theft from an at-risk adult, a felony. Rivas was initially charged with 13 counts.
The county’s district attorney’s office says Rivas, who was arrested last October, stole $16,000 from the woman.
