“The Fire Line: Wildfire’s in Colorado was honored as Best in Show Saturday night at the Colorado Press Association’s annual awards.

The special half-hour documentary on .looked at the four times in four years in which flames roared through Colorado neighborhoods and at the danger that still lurks in “red zone” areas

The Emmy-winning documentary, which was produced by Meghan Lyden, Mahala Gaylord and AAron Ontiveros and Helen Richardson, has been featured at seven film festivals.

Overall, Post staffers won more than 150 awards combined at Saturday’s CPA event and Friday’s Colorado Associated Press awards.
