Southbound Interstate-25 has reopened after having been closed near the Wyoming border because of multiple storm-related accidents, authorities say.

“Any time there is a major storm you’re going to get a lot of crashes on all the roads,” said Trooper Josh Lewis, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol. “It’s slow going and treacherous.”

Lewis said although there have been multiple accidents both on I-25 and U.S. Highway 287 there have been no deaths or serious injuries reported, he said.

I-25 was closed at 10:08 a.m. and reopened about noon.

This story will be updated as new information is available about road closures throughout the state.
