1 Knife-wielding mom. A woman accused her roommate of pushing her toddler inside their home in the 15700 block of East Alameda Parkway, and then she pulled a kitchen knife on the roommate Feb. 10. Other roommates in the house restrained the woman until she was arrested.

2 Man vanishes inside office building. A cab driver called police to the 2600 block of South Parker Road because one of his fares didn’t pay him Feb. 7. The driver took the suspect all over town before dropping him off in front of a dark office building, from which he never emerged. Police searched the building and didn’t find him.

3 Vape thief. A man was cited for stealing a vapor pen from Perfect Alternatives, 13760 E. Quincy Ave., on Feb. 11. Security footage showed the suspect pocketing the pen after an employee took it out of the display case to show him. The suspect returned later, so store employees called police.

4 Afternoon walk. Police responded to the 9800 block of Arizona Drive because a woman’s house was burglarized while she was out for a walk Feb. 9. Bottles of liquor, a jewelry collection, cash and bottles of medication were all taken.

5 Refusing help. The neighbor of a man who lives in the 2000 block of North Florence Street called police Feb. 6 because the man’s girlfriend hit him in the face with a wooden door block and cracked his head open. The man didn’t want to talk to police.

6 Snapped wipers. A woman reported that someone ripped her windshield wiper blades off her car while it was parked in front of her home in the 3700 block of Pitkin Circle on Feb. 5.
