Saturday: Few events conjure high school popularity-contest anxiety as intensely as prom, which is why Denver’s “Nerd Prom” is a solid way to both skewer and celebrate that adolescent institution. This year’s fourth annual features musical performances from I Fight Dragons, founder Andy “Rok” Guerrero and his band the Real Deal, DJ sets from Mile High Soul Club and Lipgloss’ DJ Hollow, and a “supergroup” finale featuring the aforementioned musicians and members of the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing the “Guardians of the Galaxy” mixtape. There are also contests (cosplay, nerd king and queen), vintage gaming, prizes, a photo booth and more. Doors at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Summit Music Hall, 1902 Blake St. $15-$50. 303-487-0111 or TicketWeb.
