FRISCO, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a 46-year-old man died while skiing at Breckenridge, marking the second on-mountain death at the resort in four days.

Summit County Coroner Regan Wood says Krzysztof Kostelic, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, died Thursday morning while skiing an intermediate run. He was wearing a helmet, and Wood says he might have had a medical issue that caused him to crash into a tree.

The Summit Daily reports (http://bit.ly/17EwSpV ) Kostelic’s death comes three days after a 22-year-old University of Colorado student died after skiing expert terrain at the mountain.
