Re: “FCC approves net neutrality rules for Internet providers,” Feb. 27 news story.

Proponents of the FCC’s new regulations regarding Internet neutrality claim an effort to keep from slowing down the Web. But these rules will also prevent speeding up. One size fits all. Equal result, not equal opportunity. Everyone in the classroom gets a B, regardless of innovation, hard work, competitive advantage, or the opposites of these. In short, grade neutrality.

I think I learned about “lowest common denominator” when I was in the classroom.
