1 Man makes off with cab. On Feb. 19, a cab driver told Denver police he was picking up some people near East Colofax Avenue and Lincoln Street when a suspect jumped in the cab, scaring everyone. The driver tried to get the suspect out, and everyone exited the car while the suspect jumped on the hood. When the driver went to get the customers’ possessions in the cab, the suspect got in and drove off. He was later found and arrested.
2 Woman arrested at Taco Bell. A woman was arrested Feb. 21 after causing a disturbance at Taco Bell, 634 16th St. Denver police contacted the manager who recognized the suspect from a previous incident. The suspect was shouting at the manager and scaring customers, and knocked over a condiment holder.
3 Unwanted man punched in mouth.On Feb. 18, a man called Denver police after a suspect entered his home in the 900 block of South Oneida Street. The man escorted the suspect out of his house, but said the suspect wanted to fight and swung at him. In defense, the man punched the suspect in the mouth. The suspect apologized. He was intoxicated.
4 Brothers fight at bar. Denver police responded to a fight Feb. 20 at Horizon Bar, 3298 Hudson St., involving two brothers. Officers were told en route that one man left the scene. Police located and arrested him after his brother wished to press charges.
5 Man robbed outside Walgreens. On Feb. 23, a man called Denver police after he was robbed near the intersection of 15th Street and Champa Street after leaving Walgreens. The man was carrying $20 when a suspect approached and demanded money.
