1 Supermarket restroom hard to find. On Feb. 17, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to King Soopers, 11747 W. Ken Caryl Ave., Ken-Caryl, after a man urinated in the store. Deputies contacted the suspect who said he thought he was in the bathroom. The manager had already cleaned up the urine and just wanted the suspect out of the store.
2 Road rage ends with broken window. A driver called deputies on Feb. 20 saying he had been cut off several times by another driver and, when both stopped near the intersection of West Bowles Avenue and South Pierce Street in the Columbine (Littleton) area, the other driver opened the man’s passenger door and shouted at him. When he slammed the door shut, the window shattered.
3 Suspicious people reported.On Feb. 16, a homeowner called deputies after a woman rang her doorbell in the 8000 block of South Everett Court in the Littleton area. The homeowner said she turned on the porch light and the visitor ran off. The homeowner said she noticed others running from neighbors’ places at the same time. An extra patrol was ordered.
4 Trespass at construction site. A man called deputies on Feb. 17 after he noticed his construction site in the 16200 block of West Belleview Avenue in the Littleton area had been breached.
5 Emblem taken off woman’s car. On Feb. 20, a woman went to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s South Precinct, 11139 Bradford Road, Ken-Caryl, after a “trail rated” emblem was taken off her Jeep. The woman said there were several dents on the vehicle where the emblem had been.
