SEATTLE — Josh Scott scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Xavier Johnson came off the bench to add 11 points and seven boards as Colorado beat Washington 64-47 on Thursday night.

Xavier Talton matched his season high with 10 points, helping offset a rough night from senior Askia Booker (five points on 2-for-10 shooting).

CU (14-15, 7-10 Pac-12) won its second in a row and improved to 2-9 on the road. The Huskies (15-14, 4-13) are 4-14 since an 11-0 start to the season.

Women

SEATTLE — Lexy Kresl had 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds to lead Colorado to a 75-63 victory over USC in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.

Haley Smith scored 16 points, and Jamee Swan added 15 for the Buffaloes, who will take on top-seeded Oregon State in the quarterfinals Friday.

HIGHLIGHT

Lia Galdeira scored a career-high 34 points, and Washington State advanced in the Pac-12 Tournament with a 66-64 triumph over Oregon.
