The NFL free agency is buzzing. Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins, Jeremy Maclin to the Chiefs, Frank Gore to the Eagles. The problem is, no one’s supposed to know about all of that yet.

Les Shapiro and Woody Paige discussed this year’s free agency and how both teams and players have bizarrely ignored the rules of the NFL’s negotiating period, which states that “teams are not permitted to agree to contracts with players on other teams during the negotiating period.”

The three-day period began Saturday March 7 but isn’t set to be finished until 4 p.m. ET March 10.

Woody Paige believes the NFL brought the problem on themselves, calling the negotiating period a legal tampering period.

Paige went on to say that the players’ agents were likely behind the release of the information, seeking to establish the market.

The NFL will the violations of the negotiating period.
