The NFL combine reflected the rebuilding nature of CU’s football program. No Buffs were invited. That doesn’t mean that some won’t get an opportunity to play in the NFL. The journey continues Wednesday as CU hosts its pro timing at Dal Ward Center in Boulder. In addition, two former CU players and three CSU-Pueblo stars will audition. The Thunderwolves, who won a national title last season, are coached by John Wristen, a former CU assistant.
The Seahawks drafted CU receiver Paul Richardson in the second-round last spring.
