1 Road rage spreads to phone. On Feb. 22, a woman living in the 4200 block of South Eldridge Street, unincorporated Jeffco, called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies to report a call from a man who said she had cut him off downtown the day before. The woman denied driving downtown and hung up.

2 Caller wants man’s insurance info. A resident in the 7100 block of South Lewis Street in the Littleton area called deputies Feb. 25 to report that he had received two calls from a man asserting the resident had hit his car, had left a note with the resident’s phone number and asking for his auto insurance information. The resident said he was not in any accident and suspected fraud.

3 Tire slashed. On Feb. 26, a woman called deputies to report that a tire on her son’s car had been slashed in the 6400 block of South Estes Street in the Littleton area. She said her son had parked in the driveway and not driven since the night before.

4 Woman complains of trespassing. A woman called deputies after a man had used what she believed to be her road in the 10000 block of South Turkey Creek Road, east of Conifer, to go cut down some trees. The woman said the road is only for those who live in the neighborhood. The woman could not provide documentation about the road and the man was not cited.

5 Officer slides into truck on slick road. On Feb. 25, a deputy slid backward into a parked truck at U.S. 285 and Doubleheader Ranch Road, east-northeast of Conifer, after stopping to assist other motorists who had slid off the road.
