Are high school sports necessary? Absolutely. Being an athlete helps a lot in high school and teaches you a lot of life lessons. And being an athlete is good for you healthwise. Also, it’s good socially being around a team and feeling the team atmosphere, especially with hockey and the bond you get with all the brothers.
