Jefferson County Public Health will conduct a free seminar Thursday on how to implement no-smoking policies in multi-unit housing.
The seminar, which will take place at 8:30 a.m. in Small Hearing Room 100 at the Jefferson County Courts and Administration Building, is aimed at property owners and managers of affordable multi-unit housing.
The goal of the get-together is to share ways of reducing exposure to secondhand tobacco and marijuana smoke.
The seminar will offer free resources on the topic, including staff experts, materials, sample policy language and guidance for enforcement.
