
1 Where’s my beer? A man was arrested outside his apartment in the 5200 block of South Fox Street, Littleton, on Feb. 18 after a domestic dispute erupted when his wife woke him up to help find the TV remote. Police found the man outside his apartment because his wife locked him out when he stepped out to retrieve a case of beer she put outside.
2 Bad call. A woman living in the 5300 block of South Elati Street, Littleton, called police to report her father hit her on the neck following an argument Feb. 17. The suspect was gone when officers arrived, but the caller was arrested for twice failing to appear in court on shoplifting charges.
3 Check yourself. Police responded to the 5100 block of Rio Grande Street, Littleton, on March 1 after a man reported his estranged wife threw the purse of another woman he was seeing off the balcony before trying to drive off with it. She was given a warning, but later issued a summons for theft after the second woman found two checks had been stolen from a checkbook in the purse.
4 Money woes. A woman called police March 3 to report her ex-fiancé was harassing her with a hammer inside her apartment in the 5300 block of South Santa Fe Drive and yelling that he wanted his money. Officers found the hammer in the apartment and arrested the suspect nearby.
5 Trucking. On March 4, a man living in the 5200 block of South Perry Court reported his silver, 2010 Ford F-150 truck had been stolen from in front of his home overnight. He told officers he kept spare keys in the console.
