Getting your player ready...

Through March 29: Appealing to boys and girls in equal measure isn’t just a sign of the changing world of kid’s entertainment, it’s smart marketing. That’s the idea behind the latest Disney On Ice touring show, “Worlds of Fantasy,” which trots out characters from popular animated properties like “Cars” and “Toy Story” as much as “The Little Mermaid” or other ostensibly fairy-oriented fare. The costumes, special effects and (oh yeah) slick skating will take to the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland for multiple shows through March 22 ($15-$50, 877-544-8499 or ), followed by a stint at the Denver Coliseum March 26-29 ($14-$68, 800-745-3000 or ) and the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs April 2-5 ($16-$51, 866-464-2626 or ).
