Don’t get your hopes up on this one. It’s possible that has canceled more shows than they’ve actually played. Last year the band and canceled all of its live dates.
But now, on the heels of a new double album “The Powers That B”, the band is supposedly heading out on a lengthy summer tour. This tour includes a stop at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on June 24.
Tickets for select dates are on sale now. We’ll update this post when there’s more information.
Here’s what the band said :
we are now at our best and so Death Grips is over. we have officially stopped. all currently scheduled live dates are canceled. our upcoming double album “the powers that b” will still be delivered worldwide later this year via Harvest/Third Worlds Records. Death Grips was and always has been a conceptual art exhibition anchored by sound and vision. above and beyond a “band”. to our truest fans, please stay legend.
