Welcome to our new feature highlighting the numerous Colorado tech companies that make cool stuff. These little snippets are intended for readers to explore the technology being made right here. One company at a time, of course.
Decibullz
Custom-fit headphones for $60? Just melt Decibullz to fit and mush them in your ear. And don’t be gross. Clean your ears first.
What it does: Sells custom-molded earphones for $60, and no, they don’t send someone to your house for a fitting. You do it yourself with the help of a microwave. The DIY-aspect is why Decibullz doesn’t charge $500 as other custom-fit companies do. Just heat a cup of water in the microwave, drop the buds in until they’re soft and pliable. Then stick one in your ear until it fits. This isn’t gross. It’s personal. Didn’t get that? .
