GLENWOOD SPRINGS — A former bookkeeper in the Garfield County clerk’s office has acknowledged embezzling thousands of dollars from her employer.
Robin McMillan, 51, pleaded guilty to theft from $20,000 to $100,000 and to filing a false tax return. Police say she estimated that she stole about $50,000 from the office, but a victim impact statement listed the loss as $411,000 dating back to 2008.
