A 29-year-old Centennial man will spend five years in prison for taking pornographic pictures of children he babysat.
Pedro Teniende was sentenced Tuesday by an Arapahoe County judge for one count of sexual exploitation induce/entice and one count of sexual exploitation 20-plus videos, according to a news release from District Attorney George Brauchler’s office. Teniende pleaded guilty in November.
Teniende was tracked down by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children unit after he posted an ad on Craigslist with images of child pornography.
After executing a search warrant, authorities found a laptop with 211 pornographic pictures of children he babysat, who were 9 and 12.
