1 Napper resists arrest. Police checked on a man who appeared to be ill and passed out in his car at Walmart, 11101 S. Parker Road, Parker, on March 24. When the man woke, he was aggressive and drove away. Another officer tried to stop him on Tallman Road but he fled. Police later went to his house and arrested him for resisting arrest.

2 Not an invitation. A homeowner living in the 18600 block of Horse Creek Street, Parker, said a man in his 20s came through their front door without permission and began petting their dog on March 28. The homeowner yelled at the man to get out, to which he responded the keys had been left in the door. He then left. The homeowner did not want to pursue charges.

3 Spiteful. A man reported the windshield of his Jaguar sedan was smashed with a stone block and the hood ornament was stolen in his driveway in the 10600 block of Worthington Circle, Douglas County, overnight March 31.

4 Fido oh no. A woman living in the 400 block of Rose Finch Circle, Highlands Ranch, reported wiring $400 on March 27 to a company she found online in exchange for a puppy. She later got text messages from another person warning the dog was going to be impounded unless she paid $2,500. She eventually determined it was a scam.

5 Making mama proud. A clerk at T.J. Maxx,9579 University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, reported that a man ran off with several designer purses without paying on March 27. Witnesses said he jumped in a red SUV with an older woman they thought was his mother.
