The Denver District Attorney’s Office has charged a man in connection with the robbery of a 70-year-old woman’s tax refund.
Jesse Giron, 39, is charged with robbery of an at-risk victim, officials said. Another man, Lenny Esquibel, 39, is also wanted and is still at-large .
Officials said that on March 30 at about 2:30 p.m., Giron and Esquibel were at a Walmart store at 7800 East Smith Road when the woman was accosted. Giron is accused of driving the get-away vehicle.
Giron has been released from custody on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on April 16.
