A 39-year-old Oregon woman, dubbed the “Military Mistress” for marrying 14 military men to apparently steal from their bank accounts, is wanted in three states — including Colorado — for passing fraudulent checks, authorities say.

Bobbi Ann Finley, also known as Bobbi Ann House , of Dallas, Ore., is wanted along with her 27-year-old husband, Zackerie House, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon.

The couple are accused of writing roughly $13,500 in checks at stores like Cabelas and Safeway in an apparent attempt to camp or survive in rural or remote areas, the sheriff’s office said.

“The Houses started their spree in western Oregon, moving through Oregon coastal towns (and) into Colorado and Oklahoma,” the office said in a news release Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear on Thursday where the Houses allegedly passed fake checks in Colorado.

Chris Baldridge, a spokesman for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, said the couple passed the fraudulent checks in Colorado along the state’s border with Oklahoma.

The Houses remain at large, the sheriff’s office said, and their whereabouts are unknown. The couple last made a purchase on March 30 at a store in Checotah, Okla., in the eastern part of the state.

Oregon officials say the couple are traveling in a 2005 Cadillac Escalade with Oregon license plate 535BWP.

Bobbi Ann Finley got her nickname in 2010 when national news outlets spotlighted allegations she went from one military base to the next, marrying service members to gain access to their bank accounts.

ABC News reports that she went to prison after pleading guilty to theft by deception.

Authorities ask anyone who sees the Houses to immediately call 911.
