MMA fighter Brian Rogers. (Provided by Bellator MMA)
Denver-based mixed martial artist lost a majority decision in his middleweight fight against Joey Beltran Friday at Bellator 136 in St. Louis.
For Rogers, 31, it’s his fifth loss in his last seven fights dropping his record to 11-8-0. Beltran, who made his debut at middleweight, improved to 16-11-0.
A former heavyweight, Beltran fought for UFC from 2010-13 before coming over to Bellator. This was his first-ever fight at 185 pounds, and he made history for the promotion becoming the first fighter to win at three different weight classes (heavyweight, light heavyweight and middleweight).
