Jeffco Schools has closed mountain-area schools on Friday and Douglas County is on a 90-minute delay due to a strong spring storm.
Schools in Conifer and Evergreen articulation areas, Coal Creek K-8 and Ralston Elementary are included in the partial closure.
Buses will not be running in those areas, or in the Coal Creek Canyon, Golden Gate Canyon and Lookout Mountain areas.
Schools in Douglas County are on a 90-minute delay Friday “due to icy, snow-packed driving conditions and snow accumulation,” the district said.
Additionally, buses and before school programs are on a 90-minute delay in Douglas County and morning preschool programs have been canceled.
