COLORADO SPRINGS — The search for the missing mother of a dead Air Force Academy cadet is still a rescue effort and not a recovery effort, said Fire Chief Christopher Riley on Friday afternoon.
“We’re not giving up hope at all,” he said.
Ksenia Quiros, 45, went missing Wednesday night, nearly two weeks after her son, an Air Force Academy cadet, died on campus April 2.
Some witnesses identified and spotted Quiros on the west side of Stratton Open Space, Riley said at a news conference.
