Loveland police are investigating a dead body found Thursday afternoon.
Officials said the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a call at about 12:30 p.m. regarding a man next to the railroad tracks in the 700 block of North Railroad Avenue.
Loveland police officers went to the area and found a deceased white male, who appeared to be in his 50s, lying by the tracks.
The Loveland Police Department and the Larimer County Coroner’s office are working together to determine the circumstances that led up to his death, officials said, adding that there was no initial evidence of foul play.
