Dick Hilker s Sunday column was da bomb! When I was an editor of a small-town daily, I let my sports guys use imaginative language, too. However, they had to reference the tater to a home run somewhere very close by. Nowadays I still can t tell what a dang hack is! Thank you for publishing Hilker s columns so I can continue to laugh and ponder.
