Avalanche danger has closed U.S. 6 Loveland Pass Sunday night, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
CDOT tweeted about the road closure around 6:30 p.m.
Drivers commuting through the mountains have been experiencing road and lane closures on and off Sunday due to blowing snow and icy roads.
