
1 Woman steals chicken, found with drugs. A woman was arrested by Denver police on April 18 after she tried to walk out of Albertsons, 323 S. Broadway, with a whole chicken. The woman was held by loss prevention, who also found an oxycodone pill in her cellphone case and some hydrocodone stashed in her bra.
2 Disturbance at Westin Hotel. On April 19, Denver police responded to the Westin Hotel, 1672 Lawrence St., on a disturbance. Hotel staff said a woman had been seen coming out of her room in her underwear and ripped a painting in the hallway. Loud noises were heard coming out of the room. The woman was required to compensate her neighbors.
3 Woman cited for kicking fence. On April 18, a man called Denver police to report damage to his fence in the 700 block of Dexter Street. The victim had video surveillance that showed his neighbor walk over from her yard and kick the gate. The woman was cited for destruction of private property.
4 Suspect poses as Lakewood police. A woman called Denver police on April 21 after she received multiple calls from a person claiming to be with Lakewood police. Police responded to the 7400 block of East 26th Avenue and learned the suspect continued to harass the victim and threatened to arrest her.
5 Employees fight at Blackjack Pizza. A man called Denver police April 17 after he was involved with an altercation with a coworker at Blackjack Pizza, 2170 S. Federal Blvd. The victim said he was in an argument with the suspect, who became angry and shoved him. The officer cited the suspect for assault.
