
1 Man crashes car, crashes in car. On April 13, a resident of the 8000 block of South Deer Creek Canyon Road, Morrison, reported an unknown male sitting in the resident’s vehicle in his driveway. Jeffco Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the man, who was drunk and said his car “broke down” nearby, so he got into the resident’s car to keep warm. Deputies found the suspect’s car wrecked nearby. He was arrested for trespassing and drunken driving. (Not visible on map.)
2 Paintball at Pence Park. A visitor to Pence Park, 4400 Parmalee Gulch Road, Indian Hills, reported evidence of criminal tampering in the park April 12. He said that while he was hiking in the park, he encountered a bicyclist, a car and park signs that had all been hit by paintballs. When he questioned a car full of males with paintball guns, they denied knowing anything and drove away. Because no victim was identified, Jeffco deputies closed the case.
3 Customer banned from Woody’s. On April 15, Golden police responded to a fight at Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza, 1305 Washington Ave. The manager refused to serve alcohol to a customer she believed was drunk when he arrived. The customer argued and was being escorted out when he headbutted an employee. He was banned from returning to the business.
4 Angry vegetarian. A customer at Taco Bell, 30850 Stagecoach Blvd., Evergreen, became angry April 12 when the tacos he ordered meatless came with beef. Employees were concerned because he refused a replacement order and remained irate.
