A course of month-long map fun
The Rocky Mountain Map Society continues its Map Month festivities with exhibits and lectures. “Pictorial Maps of the 20th Century: Popular Geographic Information Presented for Beauty and Amusement” hangs in the Anderson Academic Commons on the University of Denver campus through June 1 and “Mapping the 20th Century: Original Maps from the Denver Public Library” is on display through June 28 in Level 5 of the Denver Public Library. A series of four lectures with nationally recognized map experts are scheduled May 4, May 11, May 18 and wrapping up June 1 with a Map Fair showcasing local map dealers at the library.
