I find it hard to believe that Glenn Pladsen could not find a better way to dispose of the books he no longer wanted than to throw them out of his car window. Libraries, nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and schools are happy to receive donations of books. Littering the highway was not the correct or smart choice.
