
1 Drunken woman shouts at children. On April 26, a woman was arrested by Denver police after causing a disturbance at McDonald’s, 505 E. Colfax Ave. The woman was asked to leave by management after reportedly shouting at children in the store. Police asked if she was drinking and she said, “yes, I’ve had a (expletive)-ton of vodka today.”
2 Bucket thrown in anger. On April 22, a man was arrested after a fight with a coworker in the 2500 block of Ogden Street. Denver police responded and learned that the suspect and victim had fought over a previous arrest. The suspect pushed the victim in the chest and threw a bucket in his direction.
3 More throwing. A woman was arrested April 25 after throwing a drink and a chair that caused a woman to need stitches at Cold Crush, 2700 Larimer St. The woman told an officer she threw a drink at men who were telling her to get off the stage. The officer learned that the woman was asked to leave the stage because she was not allowed there.
4 Carjacking suspect arrested after chase. Denver police apprehended a suspect April 25 who had stolen a man’s car at gunpoint. Officers found the car abandoned and later apprehended the suspect in the 500 block of South Stuart Street.
5 Police foil burglary of vacant home. Denver police responded to a burglary in progress April 23 in the 5100 block of West 14th Avenue. Police took two people into custody and learned a third was in the basement. He was apprehended while hiding under the stairs. The owner said the house is vacant and no one was supposed to be inside.
