Police in Denver are searching for a man connected to five armed gas station robberies in the city since mid-April, one of which left a person seriously injured.

The robberies began April 19 and continued through at least Monday, police say. The man allegedly brandished a knife in the heists.

Officials indicated more gas stations may have been robbed by the same suspect.

The suspect is described by police as a white man in his 40s who is just under 6 feet tall. Authorities say he has short brown hair and a reddish beard.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
