BOULDER — The intruder who was killed on Pima Court on Monday night had attempted to enter several other homes in the area before bursting into the house in which he attacked an occupant before being fatally shot in the chest, police said this morning.
The Boulder County coroner’s office on Tuesday afternoon identified the man shot as Roberto Zamora, 19, of Boulder.
Police said that at 8:40 p.m. Monday a man tried to enter several homes on Pima Court and was yelling at residents and banging on doors and windows while he tried to get in.
The man then went to 98 Pima Court and began banging on a rear window, causing a man in the house to grab a gun while a woman in the home called 911.
