A motorist Tuesday morning slammed into an Asian restaurant in Denver as a police officer was having lunch, an employee said.
The crash happened about 11:30 a.m. at Saigon Terrace, in the 1500 block of Colorado Boulevard, according to waitress Kim Nguyen.
Nguyen said the motorist drove into the front of the building near the entrance area.
“Thankfully, he was right there,” she said of the officer.
Police said there didn’t appear to be anyone injured in the wreck.
