1 Urinating on the floor. A man was arrested for indecent exposure and public urination April 19 because he peed in the corner of a Commerce City business (address redacted) and then laid down next to the puddle. The suspect smelled like booze when police arrived.

2 Liquor heist. An employee of Sam’s Liquor Warehouse at 9380 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, heard a noise in the storage room April 13. When he went back, a man was standing just outside the back door loading boxes of alcohol into a truck. He got away, and took 70 bottles of Jose Cuervo and 10 bottles of Glenfiddich with him.

3 False return. Store security at the Target at1001 E. 120th Ave., Thornton, called police April 15 because a man received about $90 in store credit for returning a set of sheets that he stole earlier.

4 Underage smoking. Police received a call about an underage girl buying cigarettes at Federal Heights Liquor at 9090 Federal Blvd. An officer found the 17-year-old girl smoking in a car nearby April 17. He cited her and confiscated the rest of the pack.

5 Butterfly knife. A patrolling officer saw a parked car that was flashing its lights near 119th Place and York Street in Thornton April 15. The driver didn’t know his lights were flashing. The officer confiscated a butterfly knife from the man.

6 Lunchtime vandals. A police officer suspects that someone keyed the passenger side of his patrol vehicle while he was having lunch at the Chipotle at 5988 Dahlia St., Commerce City on April 15. The officer didn’t notice until he returned to the police department.
