Denver police are asking for help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a Lower Downtown market at gunpoint late last month.

Police say the robbery happened April 29 at about 6:30 p.m. at Brothers Market near the intersection of 20th and Blake streets.

The suspect, who was recorded by a surveillance camera, is described by police as a black man in his 30s who is just under 6-feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

“The suspect was seen fleeing the area on foot,” police say.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
