COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Rain has caused a Colorado Springs retaining wall to collapse.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1EwbtYP ) that the Colorado Springs Fire Department says the more than 15-feet-tall wall collapsed on Sunday.
Cpt. Steve Oswald says the rain caused the structure to fail, falling into the back of a Ford dealership’s used car building.
He say firefighters have received reports of a smell of gas in the area but aren’t sure if a gas line was broken in the building.
