Denver officials will conduct a full, three-minute test of the city’s outdoor warning siren system on Wednesday morning.

The test, scheduled for 11 a.m., is conducted annually in advance of tornado season, the city said. All of the city’s sirens will sound simultaneously as part of the drill.

“If you hear outdoor warning sirens at any other time, seek shelter immediately and tune in to local media for further warnings or instructions,” the city said in a news release on Tuesday.
