Police released little new information Saturday about a body found in a Lakewood apartment Friday afternoon, other than that the victim is man and someone was involved in his death.
Police at about 3:25 p.m. Friday. They could see through the window there was a person lying on the floor inside, and forced their way in.
Information is being closely held as part of the investigation, said Lakewood police Sgt. Randy McNitt.
“All we can really say right now is that it’s being investigation as a homicide,” McNitt said.
The small apartment complex is in the 1400 block of North Harlan Street, a short distance from several car lots and older motels on West Colfax Avenue.
The case is being investigated by the Lakewood Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit,
