Police are searching for a man who crashed into two vehicles and smashed through a barricade set up for the Colfax Marathon in Lakewood Sunday morning.
Denver police have located the red, Toyota Tacoma truck that the suspect allegedly was driving, said Lakewood police spokeswoman Andrea Joo.
Denver police found the truck in the 1700 block of South Clarkson Street.
The incident began at 7:51 a.m. when Lakewood police responded to a report that a man appeared to be sleeping or passed out in the truck, Joo said.
“We got a report of a man over the wheel in the 1600 block of Wadsworth, when we went to contact him, he drove through the barriers and hit vehicles in the parking lot and a building before taking off southbound on Wadsworth.
No one was injured in the incident.
