Adams County authorities said they are investigating the death of a 25-year-old inmate found unresponsive in his cell early Sunday at a county detention facility.
The man was housed in the center’s medical unit, sheriff’s deputies said in a prepared statement.
Medical staff and paramedics tried to resuscitate him but could not, the statement said.
“The death does not appear to be suspicious,” it said.
No name was released.
